Man, the last couple of weeks have been Birthdayeriffic!
Garnet turned 4 on the 25th but it seems as if her birthday has
been going on the whole month. We took the Girls to Disney World on the 19th, part 1 of her birthday. Garnet liked the Haunted Mansion alot, she's a ghoul just her mother. Anyone who has ever taken kids to Disney World knows it's alot of work! Then
the next day we went to Dinosaur World in Beautiful Plant City, Fl. That was Pretty cool, and of course the Dino lover that Garnet is totally loved it. It blows me away that at 4 she already knows so much about Dinosaurs. Christ! at 4 i was still talking to my Poop, well yeah i still do sometimes but that's beside the point. So, after a couple of exausting day's of Fun we head back home, Then on her actual birthday the 25th we had our traditional Birthday Cake in bed for breakfast and she opened
a couple of presents. Then we all scurried off to School, Work, and our other various tasks for the day. After work i got home for a few minutes then had to run off to do Sound check ( I play in a band) http://www.squeakyrock.blogspot.com/
and play a show that night.
Garnet got picked up by her "Uncle" Scott and they went to dinner and Build a Bear where she got an awesome stuffed Kitty.
Then to top off the madness we had a party for her on the 29th.
It's not an easy feat to pull off a successful kid party, Adult parties are easy you just need adults, Liquor, Funk Music, and after an hour or so everyone is wasted and thinks they are having a great time.
But with kids you have to do stuff like play Pin the tail on the Donkey, have a Pinata, which by the way is always a hit, and they work for adult parties if you fill them tiny bottles of Booze and smokes, maybe some condoms. OK where was i?
The party was great and she got alot of great presents.
So on top of all of that business we had to have her party the day that Daylight savings time ended so after being totally
exausted from the crazy week or so, the girls both woke up
this morning at like 5:00am because setting back a clock
doesn't mean shit to them. for them it still felt like 6:00 which
is about the usual waking time, of it felt like 4:00 to me.
Plenty of time to sleep when we're dead i guess.

The party ruled - I pretty much hate adult parties (Unless I'm working during the party... steve used to get me to go to his parties by telling me I could be the "DJ"), so this party was right up my alley. Clovis loved the shopping cart and just dug being around all the kids. She played ball with Rio, hung with Ysa, didn't really eat a lot of cake.
Other than that, I just wanted a forum in which to say that Garnet told me the following the other day:
(after rubbing my shaven head) "I don't like your hair. It's yogurty". I would like to make sure everyone knows, my hair is not yogurty. H
