Kid stories...what else?

Here is another picture of Bella and her pink boots, this time at Lowe's, standing on edge of a fountain.

Ysa had her 2nd birthday party a couple of weeks ago, amazing to think she's already 2! We had a good time, no organized games this time, not even a pinata. But we did have a slip-n-slide and baby pool, so the kids liked that and we had cake and yummy vegan ice cream, and Ysa got cool stuff.

My birthday was a week after Ysa's and Amy brought over awesome vegan pineapple upside down cake and vegan blueberry cream cheese ice cream. Garnet picked out decorations and while she was putting the decorations up, I was putting up my new poster of Justin Timberlake. Garnet said, "This is going to be the best birthday party ever!" and I replied, "Why, because Justin is going to be here?" to which she says, "Mommy! that's just a picture, he's not real but you can pretend he's your friend if you want to...or this poot I just pooted!" I guess she thinks I must be really hard up for friends...
